I think the rule of thumb is 2 tenths = 20 HP and your two tenths in mph until you reach a certain speed ( which I am sure the drag racers can tell you what that is) and then because of wind and other factors you will need a lot more to obtain the gains you are looking for.

thanks...i have picked up 2 mph since installing a vortec ram air. On my g-tech. W ith over 10 runs my best mph was 117.6 now i'm hitting 119 on almost every run, 119.8 being best. my tires are bald so i can't launch very well and only gained 1 10th on my times ,temps have been all 80's ,thanks again this gives me a idea of my horsepower increase.
