[Z06] Any experience with Koni shocks?
Overall the suspension is great but the shocks seem a tad soft; mainly in transitions. I've used Koni's on my M3 in the past and liked them very much; especially the ability to adjust the rebound from track to track.
I realize that the Penske's are the ultimate, but after messing with double-adjustable Motons on the M3, I prefer to mess with the suspension less, so the single-adjustable route is more in my line.
However, after scouring the forums, I haven't seen much written on people's experience with the Konis. So, is anyone using them?
The only negative thing I read is that they might raise the ride height. Is that correct? Even for a car lowered using the factory bolts only? Can the rise be compensated for?
The Konis that I'm looking at have part numbers 3013-1023 and 3013-1024; just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
Thanks,
Pete
Good luck, hopefully someone with personal C5/Z06 experience with Koni's will chime in. Very curious myself. I also have an 04 Z and its surprizingly forgiving in the comfort category. I wouldnt mind a more "shocking" ride ...
Bilstein's are also good...

See them on my silver Z06 at
