Who is planning on attending the texas mile the first weekend of october? If you are coming please list your mods and where you are leaving from. It would be cool to see if there are any members that are willing to meet and head down there together.
Hopefully i will have a 150 shot and race gas on my bolt on Z06 and hope for 170 by the end of the mile! possible?
man I wish I could go, but I don't think I will have my nitrous setup installed yet and i am not taking my car out there w/ just exhaust and intake. I will wait until next year w/ more mods. I might end up going out there to watch since it isn't that far away from my house (San Antonio).
I would but I don't feel like driving all the way down there from OKC.
You don't need race gas, just run 93 and you're fine. Race gas might actually hurt your times. But, yes, w/ a 150 shot and bolt ons I don't think you'll have much of a problem.
I'm heads/cam in my C5 coupe and I've hit over 160 in a mile, but it wasn't a standing mile. I wonder what people w/ similar setups are running? I looked at the record page but it doesn't list mods.
"Worse than an Aggie," that hurts. Hey we might have a decent squad this year. We've pretty much got no where else to go but up after the OU - A&M debacle.
I think I might end up going to the Texas Mile. If anyone from Dallas is going, let me me know, it would be fun to cruise down there with a whole bunch of vettes leaving Dallas.
I can't pick on SMU because I am planning on applying to *** School of Business next fall for my MBA. Damn us for picking schools for their academic acheviements and not their talents on the football field. Besides, does SMU even have a football team? Just kidding.
aggie03, what is Slocum doing now? I don't know what happened to you guys, a few years ago when you have Toombs, etc, you guys pounded people. Still, you handed it to Clemson pretty good last week.
Several modded ZR-1's will be there, including mine. With stock gears, I'm looking for 185+ in mine. Last years winner, Paul Dehnert, will be back in his TT ZR-1 with taller gears this time.

Be sure to look me up, i will be in a yellow Z06 and will probably hang out with a blue souped up TA. i would be interested in seeing your ZR1, as i missed out on that generation

I actually saw R.C. at Outback in College Station during the summer. He was greeted like he was the president. He seems to be doing well for himself. I guess if I still got a Big 12 coaches salary and didn't have to work then I would be doing well also.
