Default Coolant Question ???

This is funny. It is totally OPPOSITE to the law of science (Thermodynamics). Everyday this week, I drove my 2003 Corvette to work. In the morning, the outside temperature is 50 - 55 F, and my "Coolant temperature is between 178 - 185 F". Now, when I get off work at 4:00 PM, and outside temperature is between 80 - 85 F. I drove my car home and my "Coolant temperature is 176 - 180 F."

Can anybody tell me why??? Thanks in advance

Just a wild guess but ... I'm gonna say your Coolant's "nornal" operating range is 175-185?
