i recently moved to a new office closer to home and since the weather has been awesome the last few days, i have driven my vette all week.
i parked right outside my window and my friend drove his 04 CE in and parked next to me. so yesterday a black z06 showed up after lunch and parked in our group, it was pretty cool. then today a guy drove in his c4 in and parked in the same area. theres a chick that has a red c5 vert, but shes not a team player and parks in the garage behind the building.
maybe by the end of the week we can have 6 or 7 vettes in the lot on display!
Wish I had some Vetters to play with! I'm the lone stranger everybody gawks at... not that I'm complaining, I love the attention! But it would be nice to be among peers who know the feeling...
There is a silver C5 in my lot in work, I don't know they guy, but he parks out of the way on the end and I park next to him. I figure I will take my chances next to a Vette owner then a camery owner as not to ding my doors.
There are actually quite a few Vettes where I work but mine is usually the loner at the end of the parking lot. I am usually one of the first one's in, at around 5 a.m. but I park far away so that I reduce the risk of door dings. Some of the other guys park anywhere, and with such narrow parking spots I wouldn't think about. Anyway, must be a pretty sight to see all those Vettes parked together.
There are about 1800 people were I work, about 10 buildings on our campus, and there are 4 C5's including mine.
1 electron blue,,this person never keeps it clean, chrome wheels always full of dust etc...
1 98 Navy blue, immaculate, this guy is an engineering manager has reserved parking (as all managers do here), next to my boss, my boss let's us all use his spot he doesn't care...it's funny cuz when the Navy Blue vette is parked there (he doesn't drive it daily) everyone leaves the spot open for me so I can park next to him.
There are 3 C4's but they, along with another C5 park on the other side of the building across campus.
