Which Optima Red Top
Which Optima Red Top Battery,75/35 or 34/78 do you recommend for a 2002, or is there a better choice. Do they both require the optional puck adapter?
I know this has been discussed before, but I can't locate the data.
Thanks for the help.

I used the Group 34/78 with 800 cca. The puck adpt. holds better for the curved cells. Doug

That's the one to use and make sure you puck it.

What the puck are you talking about ? Does this cost extra ? If yes, how much HP gain can I expect with this mod ?

The puck is close to about 20-30 HP; if you Puck it twice then it doubles the HP.

I have the 75/35. That's what was recommended to me for the Vette.

I just installed the 34/78 in my 2000 coupe. Easy install and I didn't need an adapter.
