Has anyone had a problem with their seat back reclining or releasing under a hard pull in first and second ? When I pull hard in first and go into second my seat back will break lose . It is the reclining latch that is the problem.

I've got your problem. The right side of my seat brakes loose to the next notch back. VERY upsetting. I can't figure out how to fix it either. If you find out, please let me know how to fix it.

Mine does that too. You nail it, and the seat back reclines, almost pulls the wheel out of your hands. My dealer could not make it happen, so they could not fix it.
The reclining latch on my CE would lock in only two positions: all the way back or straight up and down. Fortunately for me, being 6' 4" all the way back was OK. Traded it before I could get it fixed (or any of the 10-20 other minor things on that lemon...)

I will be watching this thread.

Mine in the coupe will do it. Only does it after getting out and in. I have just gotten into the habit of putting on the seatbelt and pulling up on the seatback adjuster every time I get in. It has never popped out if I follow that routine.
I assume it just pops loose as push and shove to get my big butt out.
Mine does that too if I lean back on it or take off fast. (The 1st time was in a hard up hill left turn > fun fun > got my heart checked free LOL)
This could be a real problem at the wrong time. I've put something behind the seat to hold it just in case till I get a chance to fix it right.
I was wondering if there is a saftey recall on this problem? If not I guess I'll have to take the seat out and make a latch that won't let go. It would be nice if there was a recall or some one already has a fix to copy.
