Where can I get one of these reimbursement forms?

This is nuts. GM doesn't do a proper fix, but they're going to pay for an aftermarket one. Sounds like Jennifer is one of us, a Forum member trying to do the right thing... I wonder if it has to do with CLB fixes that preceeded the ECL recall?

Somehow I think that GM contact is confused on what they are supposed to pay for. I don't see how GM could knowingly pay for an aftermarket bypass when they say these bypasses cause problems with the BCM. According to GM, the only approved bypass is the Harness K. I wonder if they think that is what you have.

One answer - ttt = to the top

Just a way to move the thread back to the top of the postings.

She was not involved with the decision, as to if the CLB merited reimbursement or not.
She called me to tell me that I'm going to get my money back. There was no discussion beyond them notifying of that FACT. She was VERY attentive to what I had to say and called me back today, just as she said she would. I got the impression that they were doing everything they could to try and make customers happy, and keep them as future customers. I honestly have not had somebody, in recent memory; seem to really go out of their way to make me feel like they actually were concerned about my satisfaction with a product. And this is a product that is 6 years old, out of warranty that I bought used.

I'm still amazed GM would pay for an aftermarket bypass. I wonder if they will pay for the BCM if the aftermarket bypass damages it.

I am also confused ...just to clarify please. GM will reimburse me for my CLB even if I put it in as a preventive measure and have no failure on record? I find that very hard to believe.

Thanks johnnyvettes, I forgot about him and I know he has HP performance as well, I think in Mundeline (sp?). I'll have to call Jennifer back and she would have to talk to the service manager at Bernard, to see if they will waive the diagnostic. She already cleared it with Woodfield Chevy.

For all those that find it hard to believe that we will be reimbursed, all I can say AGAIN is that they told me I will receive payment for my CLB.
