I know, I know, a Dodge??
Well my daily diver is a Volvo V70 T5R, my wife made me do it… , but with 250 +HP, 5 sp, modded suspension it did over 135 on the autobahn . Anyway it’s getting some years on it and it’s time for a change. I kind of got used to having a wagon, so I went and drove a 05 Magnum RT yesterday and I was impressed. It seems Dodge has come quite a ways from the early days, the car is solid and drives… we’ll it’s a Hemi.
Anyone out there had any experience with them ?
When the Magnum first came out I thought it seemed pretty cool. However, in many colors it looks a bit like a hearse to me after seeing them in person in various colors (mostly dark colors although the MidNight Pearl Blue I believe they call it looks awesome) and the interior to me seems a bit too much of a throwback for a modern car. If you want a performance station wagon, its probably the car for you. Suspect GAS Mileage on the Hemi to be atrocious though.

The Magnum RT is going to be my next new vehicle. It will replace my daily driver. The 300C is also very nice. Be aware that some of the Chrysler Hemi LX cars (Magnum and 300) have had a problem with right pull. See here:
I didn't know about the pull problem, thx for the links.
What really impressed me was the engine running on 4cyl when just cruseing, I had it on a highway and never noticed the difference, when you punched it the engine response was there.
I guess I'll monitor the pull issue and wait for the AWD version
I rented a Magnum and a 300C in Hawaii the other week and liked them both and would buy them both. Funny but both did pull slightly to the right like they needed an alignment and now I see it mentioned here.
