Default new best

All,
Had a new best at the track today, but it was the slowest ET Here is the run:
1.911 60'
8.038 1/8et
90.40 1/8 mph
12.35 @ 114.27
The track was very sticky, and of the 4 complete runs I made, this was the slowest MPh. I ran 2 other 114 and a 115. The worst part was the run with no timing info My car was rolling thru the lights, like 3 runs today, and after the 12.35 and the last run of a 12.38, I ran a large, big car (roll cage, slicks, skinnies, big block ect..). It ran a 12.20 @ 113 (it was quick in the 60, very quick) and I walked it steadily down the track and at the trap we even. Too bad as it was a great run and the best I have managed yet, everything was just right Any ideas how to keep it from rolling after I stage other than a realy fast line lock??? Thanks again!

Was that w/ an 01 or an 04 ZO6? Not sure by your sig.
When you say rolling thru the lights, do you mean the starting lights? If that's happening, just try holding the emergency brake up while holding the button in & just release it when you start your launch.

Dr. Ron, my car is a 01 Z06, the 04 part was from this year's Z06 FES, my 2nd time at the NCM and my 1st with my car.

Cajun brother,
Well I am still launching like crap, and I have done a few 1.8s in the spring, and yesterday's 2 12.3s where only 1.9s It's a damn shame I was rolling and didn't get timed as that run was probably a 12.3. O well just means I have to go back Thur The track was great and I am just happy I finaly broke the 12.3s after running a 12.44 on my 4th run, ever, in the spring. Our track here is tough and all summer we where slipping. Thanks again bro and give me a call as I am in my truck today and I got something for you.

Wayne!
Damn that was sweet but I missed the sound as I had my windows up taling to Sara, BUT, I can't belive your car left rubber that long. Can't wait to see what it will do at the track now and what about a tune? It sounds so good now, hell leave the AC on! I might be out this week but I doubt it as work is crazy with all the stuff going on (you know...). See you soon!
