I'm pretty impressed with these GY Run-flats. I now have 9K on my '04 and there isn't a hint of wear on the tires (haven't lowered it yet though). I had the feeling that the tires would only last me about 15K miles, but at this rate they could go 25K easily and maybe more like 40K. Am I nuts? What kind of tire mileage are you guys getting?
I've heard of people getting some high numbers like 35K+ but I only got 25K out of the rears. Maybe switching to 3:42's at 20K had something to do with that.

I wasn't that hard on my stock set and I only got 15K out of the rears. The fronts still had about 3/4 tread left. Some get much more mileage, some less. Depends on your driving habits.
Just replaced all four with Firestone Firehawks after a punctured rear sidewall. But, the rears were down to 4/32 at 19K, which is why I decided to replace both, although the fronts still had 7/32. I don't spin the rears, so why the horrible longevity is beyond me.
Just put Miklen pilot sports on my 00 6 spd. I got 35K on the GY run flats. She is a daily driver so she wouldn't make another winter in Chicago. Love the Miklens!

43,000 from my first set of EMT's has 3/32 left on the front and 2/32 left on the back when I bought the second set.. the secret to this is correct tire pressure.. and it aint 30 psi cold either..
A gazillion guys have come on this forum yelling about getting 15K to 20K miles tops on their GY emt's and they say they keep them at 30 and don't hot rod......I think the key is heat....in South Florida we are running on griddle iron hot pavement year round....maybe that's why my dealers down here say 35 psi is best.....in 8 yrs that Ive been down here I find I get lousy mileage on all cars and all tires...some say it's not only the heat but the ground up shells in the pavement.
38k Miles on mine and still counting. Mostly hwy but now with the H/C along with the 4.10's this yr, I don't expect many more miles Hell winter is just around the corner so I should be good til spring unless we have a warm winter but I'm not holding my breath.
I got 31K miles out of my GY OEM Runflats. But, I've just replaced them with Michelin Pilots and am very happy with their superior quality of ride and balance. I must say though, the stiffness of the GY runflats' sidewall gives great cornering ability during the first 15K miles or so. After that though, the GY's get just too darn hard and bumpy in the turns for daily commute driving. The GY's are made of harder compounds which explains their lengthy lifetime. I wanted something a little more sticky. Plus, the GY's never did balance out as well as the Mich's....
on my second back set at 30,000, first lasted until 19,000 .. gonna have to replace these in a few thousand miles, probably around 34,000 ... Good thing rainy season is over here in FL.
Fronts doing good, replaced them at 26. Plenty of life left in those
btw. I hate run-flats. I'm opting out..Next set of rears will be non-runs. I just can't afford the $800 set of tires that last me 15000 miles.
