Default Replacing interior backlighting w/ colored LED's

I replaced the little power window panels on my door with red LED's and really love it. I hate that the rest of the car is now still in white lighting. I see the traction control has the same lightbulb that is easily changed, does anyone know if the DIC, HUD, and fog light/trunk pop panel have the same type of turn out lighting as the rest of the car? If so...how do you get to the DIC and HUD control lighting? Could I follow the instructions for installing speedo bezels for removing the speedometer and get to them that way? Has anyone tried this. Let me know cause I love the red lighting in a red car.

Also saw the blue lighting and IMO it looked fantastic and if I had a blue Corvette it would be one of the first additions.

Thanks all!

Just in case anyone was wondering how I did it...

YES!! I am in the process of replacing the lil bulbs in my cluster with those 3mm LEDS. So all the my HUD buttons and the 5-6 buttons on the right will be replaced with LEDS. SAme with the fog/trunk button. You get them in the same way you do thebezels.

Hey what color Vette do you have and what colors did you do for the LEDS? I ordered both the red and blue LEDS. I have a black/black FRC. Trying to figure out if I want blue or red

I have a red car so I naturally went with the red LED's. If your car is any other color, like yours, I would definitely go with the blue. Red looks great but there are cars out there that have red but I've never seen blue in a stock car and it looks great! The LED's are also quite a bit brighter so light can bleed from seems around the pop in clusters, easy fix just use some tape in the right places behind the clusters to block the light. You'll know what I mean when you put them in. Love this modification!

Yes it is, wish I could take credit but found this site on the forum from another member. The pictures really don't do it justice, I have seen the blue which is great looking! Still love the red though!

They are the same bulbs as I have had them changed in my car. As for instructions...I don't have them to give. Sorry. I have link below that you can look at to see the end result. It's on page 3.
