Removing the battery

I want to buy a Optima Red to place the week stock battery. When I disconnect the battery, will I lose any of the preset memory or any LS1 edit.

This may be stupid question, but I just want to make sure.

I didn't loose the memory settings on the seats/steering wheel/radio, but did loose the clock setting. I don't have a custom tune, so I can't comment on that.

Thanks. I probably will not lose the Edit since it was programmed.

You shouldn't lose anything except the clock setting. Custom tune is retained safely despite the disconnected battery so don't sweat it.

I lost the clock setting, radio presets and my stereo locked when I replaced mine 2 weeks ago.

NOTHING will be lost that hasn't already been mention. Your tune will be fine.

SEARS is where I bought mine, could have gotten it a bit cheaper, but there is a SEARS in most areas of the country and they will give me less issues if (And I mean "IF") I ever have any issues with red top.

It is a great battery!
