I know this question has been answered before, but I can't find the thread. So here goes: I would like a recommended list of battery tenders, prices, (and where you got them). My 99 coupe will be hibernating within a couple of months, and I need to get prepared.
Thanks,
Mike
Hey! Support your Corvette Museum - they still sell them at $59.95, and if you're a member, you'll get 10% off!
contact the store and check it out! http://www.corvettemuseum.com go to the Corvette Store and and check near the bottom of the "auto & essentials" area

Walmart has a beauty that sells for about $16. It is made by Vector. I used it all last winter and it works like a charm. Has a red led that lights up when charge is applied. I'll be hooking it up again in a few weeks here in Michigan.

I think mine is identified as a "Battery Tender Plus" and went for about $20.00. Picked it up from one of the forum vendors. You need to make sure its a true "Tender" type and not a trickle charger, which as I understand it, can do some real damage.

I use 3 of the Harbor Frieght models. Had them for years and they still work fine on the RV and Corvette batteries. Use to keep them attached to the boat throughout the winters and in the spring the boat was always ready to crank.

I would strongly recommend a VDC Electronics Battery Minder
or the Deltran Battery Tender Plus. You can leave either of these on
indefinately with no fear of battery damage.
