Body shop question
Driving through some country roads here in southern Indiana on Sunday (great weather) and as I was taking a sharp corner there was all this debris on the road including two shovels and a partial roll of chain link fence. I tagged a shovel and got some deep scratches on the passenger side front fascia about 3 scratches 2" long and a 1 x 2" scratch low on the passenger door. Ouch! Right through the paint. Went to one bodyshop in Indy and they said door and front fascia must come off and be entirely repainted. Does that sound right to you guys? If so, this was a $900 Sunday afternoon drive. On the upside, I got a corvette killing shovel for only $900!
Anybody know any good body shops in Indianapolis?
Anyone want to buy a shovel? Warning, may be possessed.

Depending on the color and where the scratch is will determine if the adjacent panels need blended.
Also, if the front bumper has to be painted, it will need to be removed, overhauled (completely disassembled... roughly 100-150 dollars), repaired and refinished.
