Help in finding trailer for vette
Moving soon, and dont want to put miles on the vette. I need a full-4 wheel car carrier. Uhaul has them, but it says it wont work on vette, I dont know why. What major company has anybody else used? Will the 4 wheel flat carrier from uhaul work? I'm thinking no reason it shouldnt...

The reason U-Haul says it won’t fit is because the Vette sits too low to drive up on their trailer. Also, when you strap the car down, the front bumper cover could get damaged. You can drive the car on the trailer by backing into a low ditch a driving the car strait across. You will still have to deal with strapping the car down though. I am still looking to buy a trailer myself. So far, no luck. Let me know if you find anything.

The trailer from Uhaul will work. I used it when I bought mine. Make sure you use a couple pieces of wood under front tires so it gets it up a little. When I strapped it down the only thing that was affected was the front rubber pieces under the spoiler that folded up but went back in place when unstrapped. I would use it again.

I hauled my vette from Houston, Texas to Calgary, AB on a u-haul trailer. As most have mentioned you need to find a sloping driveway or similar because the ramps have to much slope on flat ground for the vette. Also you need to put a couple of short pieces of 2x8 under the front tire before you strap it down.
