First Vette! what a car!
At last I know what you folks here are talking about. After a six week search I finally took home my black mn6 hardtop. How fun it is to rack through the gears, my 15 year old son was saying "dad, why do people keep looking at us" I just smiled and told him "son, its a Vette"!
Now I hafta work on keeping this beast clean, and hide it from my ex.

The best thing about owning a C5 is when you come out of a store and you see a beautiful Corvette sitting there in the parking lot and YOU have the key's in your hand.

I can remember my drive home the day I got my 98 C5. I had the targa off cruising through town and I was getting rubbernecks from people.
You notice this even more in small towns.
