hi im new here and see lots of acronyms out there clb DIC, FRC

ive figured out some and been told what others mean..

is there a list of acronyms and what they mean?

i want to copy them so i can figure out what you corvette guys are talking about..

CLB - column lock bypass
DIC - driver information center
FRC - fixed roof coupe (or flying roof coupe) ...or fuel rail cover (depending on the context of course.)

FRC= Fixed Roof Coupe or what used to be called a "Hardtop;" HUD Heads up Display ; DIC Driver Information Center --displays fuel, gages, Odometer etc.

CLB = column lock bypass ..........a device that is installed to preclude the functionality of locking the steering wheel. The steering wheel has the potential not to unlock.


FRC = fixed roof coupe ..........the Z06 is one of three models. The other two models; coupe and convertible have the feature of having the roof removed


DIC = digital instrument cluster .........the digital read out above the steering wheel at the bottom of the instrument cluster. It displays the various readings available from the various menus available e.g., fuel, gages,
