The Corvette Club of Mandarin, Florida will host an open practice day on the St Augustine road course, Saturday 10/9/04 starting at 8:00. It will be a low-speed, closed exhaust event and all NCCC safety requirements apply although this is not a sanctioned event. (Bring your helmet).
This will be a great day to get some seat time particularly for beginners. We have the track for the day and will try to allow everyone as many laps as possible. Laps will be timed for your own records. The cost is $45.00. This is a very good condition road course and not rough on tires or cars.
The event has been opened to other makes so it should be really fun.
Please email me for registration forms or additional information.

Heh! I bet it will be, I'm so stoked.
BTW, I just dropped her down as far as she'd go today. Need to put some miles on her to let her settle but can't just yet as I'll be claying and then applying the Zaino tomorrow. Sunday's gonna be a fun day though

Man are you hooked or what??? That's great. Can't wait to see your car lowered. If it hasn't settled after you run it on the 9th - it never will. You might consider a 4-wheel alignment after it settles, too.
They could be filled with concrete and I will be going faster!! Can't wait, I heard Cajun is brining his Daughter and she is driving her Celica I hope for his sake she isn't faster He would never live this one down.
Hey, wait a minute!
How can he run on your spares when he sold them to me last week?
So THAT'S why they didn't get here yet!
I used to have 8 tires and a full set of stock rims at his place. When I went to pick them up for mounting all I found was his Tonka truck in his garage.

That is a scary thought. But I'm getting a High Performance Hood Seal for her Celica so you might watch out, too.
I'm sure the hood seal will be the trick, at least too give that Celica a run for her money.
I know what we should do
1. 20 - 30 year olds
2. 30 - 40 year olds
3. 40 - 50 year olds
4. 50 - 60 year olds
5. Cajun - 80 - 90 year old guys and girls this way you won't feel bad at the end of the day. I wonder if I call (roy/ JCC) if he would give it a try?
