I have the tigershark tips. The tips themselves are identical to the pro tips. It's the spacing that is different.
Tigershark= 4 inline equal spacing
Pro = 4 inline 2+2 grouped with space in between the groups.(stock look)
I have the Tigershark tips, and agree that they are the same.
More importantly, though, is that I GUARANTEE that you will not be able to keep the Tiger Shark tips perfectly aligned without constant readjusting. I have had mine installed for over a year, had them readjusted at least half a dozen times. Talked to Corsa numerous times, suggested that they make some type of clamp to keep them aligned, but all I got was lip service. At the Mid America Funfest, Corsa had a C5 with Tigershark tips, and even their demo car had the tips out of alignment! Finally, I had my muffler shop weld a small rod behind the center tips (out of sight), and so far they are staying aligned.
I've not had the same problem with alingment. The first 500 miles or so I noticed a little varaince. I re-tightened them and so far have had no mis-alignment after 2 years and 10,000 miles
Thanks guys! That's what I wanted to know. I had the indy GTR tips on pace #2...tips with Corsa have always had alignment issues...but then again, so have stock tips.
Once installed, I'd highly suggest having a muffler ship weld a pc of metal along the back top of the tips that ties the two sections together...I think it's the only way on some cars to keep them aligned...
