Console lock jammed! Help!

Console lock jammed! Help!
Locked my console with lots of stuff in it last week. Now I can't get it open. Tried prying, nope, dealer says tumblers are jammed and want to rip the interior apart to get at the lock. I'd rather do this myself. Anyone had a similar problem or has taken the trim panels off, any advice would be great.

Maybe a bit of WD-40 sprayed in the lock and turning the key back and forth a few times while pressing down on the console lid will allow the lock to disengage.
Worse case, the locking hook on the console lid is plastic, so if you end up breaking that piece it's easy to replace and should be cheap.
