Can somone help me with a phone number for Chuck at Performance Design Specialties? They are the guys that used to be with Design Specialties in Bowling Green. I know that they have a shop in northern Kentucky, but I can't find their number.

Any help will be appreciated.

If your talking about the company that used to do awesome chroming they are not doing it anymore.
Most of my post is deleted cause I was wrong on some of it. Thanks for correcting me Onebadvette, also, missed you at Nopi this year. Was hopping to see that AWESOME new wide body.

I cannot currently find their new number, but Jons info above is incorrect. The business started with Aarron and his father. Sadly, his father passed away about 2 years ago. Aarron continued it, until he found out his wife was ill, so he relocated to Florida. Chuck and his guys took over the business and changed the name to Performance Design Specialties as you said. This doesn't help you with their number, but they are still around.

Chuck did not take over the business and did not change the name. Design Specialties and Performance Design Specialties are not the same company or affiliated. Performance Design Specialties will be making custom chrome parts. But will not be doing any of the GM Liscened product. They will also be doing performance work on Corvette's. I have more information about Performance Design Specialties and if you search the C5 parts for sale you can find their number there. Once I find the info I will post it.

I also did a search for "Performance Design Specialties", but did not have any luck. I agree with everything else in your post.

I dont have all of the info but I have to disagree with part of your post. When I was in Carlisle a few months ago "Performance Design Specialties" had a booth set up there and were selling many items. Most of their chrome had the trademark "Design Specialties" etching in the piece. For instance, they had some of the chrome fuel rail covers that had the "Design Specialties" insignia on the piece. They also had a show car set up in their both that was covered 100% in "Design Specialties" chrome.

I spoke with one of the guys at the booth but didnt catch his name. I believe that he was an owner of the company but cant say for sure. This guy used to work with/for Aaron at Design Specialties and went into detail on what was going on. Without going into too much detail myself, I was told that this new company "inherited" a lot of the left over Design Specialties inventory to settle some financial issues.

From what it sounded like, "Performace Design Specialties" is indeed a separate company than "Design Specialties" but it is also sort of an extension of Design Specialties and will pick up where they left off and build upon their business.
