Z16 are no different from any other Corvette. There are folks that will want more performance or a more personalized look. Since there are so many quality accessories for the C5 family its easy to either add a few cosmetic changes or go goofy and create a monster.

If I had a Z16 I'd mod it, of course I'd keep all the OEM parts for future use.

I have seen Z16's with many of standard C5 Appearance mods from rear light louvers, exhaust plates, bumber letter inserts (Red looks cool on the Lemans Blue IMO), exhausts etc. I am sure many have done under hood mods (Intakes, Engine dress-ups). If your concerned about collectibility and value, just do mods that are easily reversed if the need comes up. If not, then go for whatever makes you happy and enjoy the ride most of all

I persoanlly wouldn't touch the appearance of the Z16. They look fantastic the way they came from the factory.
