Low oil level

Low oil level
I am posting this from the Baymont in Bowling Green. Went to the plant and museum this morning. Spent the afternoon running around, shopping, etc. I started the car up for about the 20th time and got a "low oil level" message, checked the oil and it was down a little less than a quart, added oil and the message did not go away. I did a reset on the dic and the message disappeared, as soon as I restared the car the message came back, all gagues look normal. I am hoping this is just a computer issue. Some one plese telle that is all that is going on. Thanks,hawki

I was told (by a mechanic who knows Vettes) that sometimes it takes 4-5 start cycles to re-set this. It happened to me once...I started the car 4 times before the msg disappeared.
