Default Autocross Numbers?

What is everyone doing for autox numbers for our C5's? We obviously can't use magnets, so does someone offer some kind of vinyl stick on that comes off easy?

Also, who do I contact to have my SN changed?

There are vendors that will make nice stick on numbers for you.

I just use tape and save the money for mods. I tape up my wheel wells anyway.

Change your SN?????

I use the blue masking tape used for painting... be sure to cover the edges of the car as well. I didn't do it last time, and have some black mark from when the cones and I had a disagreement about the layout of the track . If you do get any marks from cones though, they'll come off easily. It's the light poles that are a problem

I had similar questions and the guys on the AutoX section recommended shelving paper. Self stick with no mess. I guess you just cut the numbers out and stick them dowm. Pitch them in the garbage at the end of the day. BTW It's approx. $5 a roll.

I'll give it a try on Halloween at the next event.

I use static cling vinyl blocks. They have vinyl adhesive-backed numbers.

Cool I gotta try that. Maybe it will keep the bugs off, too!! That's a lot less than what is charged for the pre-cut numbers.

Also, you can't always get the same numbers at the track. Once the SCCA stuck me with a multi-digit number that took up my whole door and half a roll of tape. I think that guy worked for 3M.
