I'm trying to figure out who to take my car to. I'm thinking of Tires Plus. Any recs on franchises which have done a good job for you and didn't kill your tire sensors or scratch your rims?
It's not so much the ones you choose to do the job...it's the places that can tell you they can actually do the job.
You;ll likely find your choices very limited...talk to the local tire places. They will probably narrow your choices down rather quickly when they tell you "no" they can't do runflats.
Not trying to discourage you, but few places have the machinery needed to handle them properly. When you find the shop that says "sure, no problem"...that's who you put your faith into.
Goodyear wound up buying me a new rim after trying to dismount their own EMT.
I found TK Performance (an affiliate of Tire Kingdom) that handles performance tires to be good. They balanced my tires and remounted my sensors without ever touching the rims with a tool. That was cool.
