Default Passenger side PW not working

The other day I went to roll down my passenger side window and nothing happened. If I try the switch on the window itself, or on the driver's side, it's the same result.

But yet the window rolled up and down quickly before this point, the motor showed no signs of it being strained. I know in the f-bodies that the window motors start working much slower just before they die.

So based on this info, could it be something simple like a fuse or some connection which has come loose? The window worked fine on Tuesday (the last time I remember it rolling down) but by Friday it did not work.

It's more likely the regulator for the window itself. When I bought my 97 2 years ago the passenger window didn't work. The dealer took care of it for me. It would be worth checking the fuses and the connector in the accordian like tube between the door and the body...but I'd bet it's the regulator. I'm sure others will chime in with some additional suggestions.

It's one of the common failures with these cars

Same thing on our 98. It was the regulator.

How much does the regulator cost and how many hours of labor does it take to replace? (it's not something I would do myself, I'd get a dealer or a friend to tackle it for me)

I don't know the cost for the replacement. I'm looking for my paper work but mine was replaced by the selling dealer under warranty and I don't recall the cost. To give you an idea, here is a link to the part in the Ecklers catalog. I tried to check with GMpartsdirect.com but the site is acting up. Hope this helps.
