Cold air induction grills...
... my latest mod, replaces the existing solid black plastic grills/bezels arround the fog lights. Gets more cold air to motor to maintain HP, pariticularly under normal driving conditions when things tend to heat up under the hood. They are similar in effect to Z06 screens, but for me the key difference is they are unobtrusive in appearance being recessed and black, helping me maintain the black on black styling theme I've chosen for this C5. You have to look close to see the 9 oval air holes in each grill.
I'm pleased with results, takes about an hour to install with a lift.

Sorry about the slow response, been out of pocket a couple of days...
Regerts on no pics, never did figure how to post them. If you guys know somebody in the north Dallas area who has the know how I would be happy to have them do some pictures.
The install is pretty straight forward, get on a lift or use a jack and stands, and work from underneath the car.
First remove the center front air dam, then you can see the stock grills are held in place only by screws. Two hard ones to get to are in the front fender wells and to get the most difficult ones you have to reach in through the front brake air intake to loosen. Look at the replacment air induction grills to help you figure where the stock screws are located. You should also loosen, not remove the fog lights.
Pull the bottom back edge of your front bumper down, it flexes easily, and work the stock grill down and out. Install the cold air induction grills reversing the steps.
Couple of pointers... after you position the new grills hold them loosley in place with a couple of top screws, then pop your front brake air intake liners in place as they will move out of alignment when you wiggle the stock grills out; also, before tightening the new grills make sure your fog lights are alligned and tightened. Double check the fog light alignment before replacing the front air dam.
The key was to look at the screw holes in the new grill to locate the screws in the stock grill.

I put a set on recently - IT's EASY - just don't do it by the instructions OR the GM manual!
After spending about an hour trying each method, I decided to completly remove the front Facia! I put it on the floor (on a blanket) changed the vents, and put it back on the car - about one hour TOTAL. The manual has good instructions to remove the facia but you should have a helper.
