Replacing Tape with CD player
I got a used stock AC Delco CD player from E-bay to replace my stock Tape player. I have a stock 12 disc CD changer in my vette.
Any advice on the install process? Can anyone point me to instructions / diagrams for doing the replacement?
As I understand it's just a matter of deactivating the theftlock on the original, disconnecting the battery and removing the center console.
... or should I just get a shop to do the replacement?

I did they same swap. Changed my in-dash cassette w/ 12 disck cd changer in the trunk for the in-dash cd player. It was "plug & play" all the connections are the same. I had never inacted the "theft" feature, so it was a non-issue.
