Sweet Corvette Hood
I was driving down the road today and saw a vette with an awesome looking cowl hool. I'm not sure what kind it was, so if anyone has some pics of some aftermarket hoods I would love to see them.

LOL, I assume your kidding but it was in 2 Fast 2 Fuirous. We have so many new forum members not sure who knows who doesnt. It was so fast in the movie you really would have needed a keen eye. I am changing the whole look now, I am kinda past the movie phase but working on getting it in a video game.

How about a simple clean hood that looks like a real ID person did it. I have seem a few that get real close but nothing that says OEM look with just that little extra...

I have the Motor City Mold hood on mine. Don't have a pic handy, but you could go to their web site (
www.motorcitymold.com ) and check it out.

Here's a Caravaggio 2 3/4" hi-rise hood.
No hole's, vent's, slots, or extractors, just a stock looking hood on steroids.
More pictures of the car & hood are here;

Will that Caravaggio hood work with a Magnacharger? I love that hood, looks stock but you can just tell something is different.

I like the Caravaggio hood that is for the S/C, however I am not sure that I like what they did near the glass line, I think some more thought could have been put into that line and the way that it looks in different views.
It seems to be the hood that best flows with the soft lines of the C5. I like the fact that they took out the center line, ditch too.

Not plugging this car, but its the first place I saw the hood. It just flows very well. But that darn glass line cut >

It's a whole body kit modeled after a prototype GM did a few years ago. Looks like there was some inspriation there for C6.
