I am considering purchasing a set of the chrome ZO6 wheels from the house of wheels. I am wondering if anyone knows the quality of their wheels. I have never owned a set of aftermarket wheels. Does the finish hold up well for a long period of time? Are there other vendors that I should consider? Any information would be helpful.

I bought a set of Z06 Chrome wheels from House of Wheels about 3 months ago. The chrome is not perfect. Some areas of the wheels have little specks in the chrome. Althoght not perfect, you will not notice it unless they are perfectly clean and your on your knees looking at them carefully.

House of Wheels has a pretty good rep here on the Forum. The Repro wheels are a few lbs/wheel heavier than the stock OEM wheels though. I beleive that they also carry chromed OEM wheels. Check to see if they carry any used Z16 wheels if polished suits you since there will not be a weight penalty.

I bought my Motorsport's chromes from Bob and HOW. The chrome is perfect. I clean the wheels every night with a bright light shining on them to ensure I get everything off. I am paranoid about pitting and dirt/grime is what starts it.
My chrome is absolutely perfect
Bob is a stand up guy to deal with-a very straight shooter. Not big on conversation, but handles his business seriously.
Also gave me $750 for my stock wheels....
