Default Riddle Me This One Batman!

This is for all you Corvette Guru’s, tonight I change all 4 of my tires and wheels to get ready for a autox on Sat. The wheels come off of Cajuns vette The tires are mixed matched runflats and they Do Not have tire sensors install. Well I get into the car to take her for a short ride expecting a tire warning caution but I still have tire pressures front and back. I stop for gas shut off the car fill her up start coming back home and the pressures are changing and still working as advertised. Now I am totally confused! This is not a joke, this really gets me thinking how good are those sensors anyway?

Nothings 100% guranteed in life except two things ... Taxes and Death.

I would say the TCM's are a good "guideline" , but I still went out and recently got a ACcu-Check electric gauge, 'cause I was told me old sliding gauge wasn't as good. Hope this helps.

It isn't uncommon for the system to hold the last readings for awhile...but I'm in disbelief the readings were changing.

Hey Stu, I'll give it some time. Not to worry Cajun still won't be able to keep up.

OOH YEAH: Cajun's probably done something to the rubber in those tires or done something fishy with those rims I betcha. Either way, if he ever does beat ya you'll have something to blame it on

I should probably keep my mouth shut as I'll be participating this time and certainly don't want the old timer showing me up

I told you guys I was not going to let OOH YEAH beat me again. If he believes his pressure readings - wait until he believes his tach and speedo.

Are you parking next to your street wheels when at home? When I
changed out to my CCWs I put the old wheels/tires next to wall
where the vette is parked. When in the garage the car still took the
tire presure readings from the old wheels until I got the new sensors
trained. Possibly whats happening to you?!?!?

You cant know how disappointed I am!

I wouldnt have missed the trip up to Atlanta...but I could have done without the down time...

Actually before speaking with Mike yesterday evening, the Ecklers Reunion was beginning to look like a wash too...
Now if I can get Tim on to the paint work...maybe I'll go to his shop and work on the vette while he paints

I hope you guys will be coming down to Ecklers next week!

I hate being left out
