finally took the vette to the track. normally, i would use the c3 but it recently started spitting up blood. anyway, finally got the g/f to come to the track with me and paid for her to drive the car. figured if i was going to let her drive the car on the street she might as well know what it's like to drive the car on a track.
so now i have to get a dedicated track car. the car performed flawlessly and the g/f really enjoyed the drive. she wants me to build a car that we can take to driving events and she can drive too. how bad is that?
I know I would feel more comfortable letting the g/f drive the car after a session or two on the track. It's not that I don't trust her.... well... I guess the two accidents in two different cars within the span of 3 weeks will do that to you.
I took my '02 coupe to the track after only having it for a week. I feel much more comfortable now driving it on the street. Now I wish she could've joined me.
Sounds like fun-but that is why I bought a 6-spd.,so my wife could not drive it
I tried that but the wife wouldn't sign off on the purchase ( we were selling her car) unless it was an auto (so she could drive it) and a Vert (cuz she's always wanted one). If you're gonna twist my arm...
