By checking the numbers on how many are active on the various forums it now appears that more of us are on the C6 forum than the C5 forum. This gap will only widen as time goes by. It is a shame, but we no longer rule the roost.

So? I never bought the car to "rule the roost". If it really bothers you then you need to consider buying a C6.

i think that the C5 forum will still thrive in spite of the apparent numbers discrepancies!you have to factor in the curiosity factor from all other forums in here;in addition to the C6 owners commiserating over some of their "first year blues" woes!that's not even taking into account the fact that the C5 is so much better looking than the C5.5(oops,C6)!!!

I think I have been to the C6 site about two times. Until I am interested in getting a C6, the majority of my time will be right here. I think the C5 site will be just fine - still a lot of good information to be had here.

I understand, many of these C6 owners that paid sticker plus are going to be unhappy when the C6 Z06 comes out with 500hp. I personaly don't need the newest or fastest, I just drive what I like.

At least the C5 forum is better than the GTO forum. I've been checking out the GTO forum, no action, they get just a few posts a day. Of course with only a few 1000 GTOs out there that is probably the reason.

Natural progession. Can't stop it, don't want to! Waiting for the Detroit Auto show for the new Z06 - maybe 2007 for me. No first years for me!

I'll come clean - I do check out the C6 forum on a regular basis (and the C3 forum)!

C6 forum numbers are inflated - I always start at the C6 forum only because none of the C5 forum links work from the home page! .... plus its entertaining to read all the like the front, hate the front, like the side, hate the side, like the rear hate the rear posts

Wife has C5 Vert - Now I want a Z06

yea, I think it's the excitement and the myriad of questions everyone has since it is new. Us C5 owner's can only remember the good ole' days in '97 when it was new and different.

i guess all the questions have been answered and observations made over the last 8 years
