Has anyone put a cutout on the bend just before the muffler? I looked today and think it may be hard to do, but doable. Has anyone done this? Pics?

Yep. Xtrooper put his there. I think it's a great place to put them for efficiency and for better clearance on A4's. I couldn't place mine there because I run the Z06 Ti catback and couldn't weld the titanium pipes.

Not really what I had in mind. I was thinking more after the axle just before it goes into the mufflers.....

I've seen that too. That's actually a nice place to put them. I once saw a picture where someone mounted them in the pipes just before the mufflers right where the pipes bend. They looked and fit nicely and didn't show unless you laid on the ground and looked for them.

I was thinking the same thing....plus it may help on the resonance some if you get it past the partition. I am nervous about hacking on the catback without at least knowing that someone has done it.

Oh well, I have been adventure venge, so I may give it a whirl. If anyone has seen it done this way or has pics, please post up. If not, I guess I'll be the first!
