We decided to have our driveway resealed which i was already unhappy about since the car would have to stay in the garage for a few days. The guy doing it said he needed to put up the garage door which made me nervous even though he swore nothing would get on the car. So to be safe, i pulled the car up as far as i could and also covered the back end. I also stood there and watched as he sprayed the stuff on the driveway.
It wasn't until after he left that i went back into the garage and noticed a fine black mist on a section of the car. I quickly noticed that the ENTIRE car was covered in this black tar and started to flip out. I ended up having to go to the store for a couple of cans of bug and tar remover and bath the car in it.
Thankfully, with the bug and tar remover, a bucket of car wash, and a bucket of water, i got it all off. What a mess that was......
Now i have to do the other car that was in the garage at the time
I just sealed my driveway the other day,it took 4 five gallon pails.I brushed it on.I wouldn't trust anyone else to do it,especially if they sprayed it on.Glad all worked out for you.
Glad you got it while it was fresh...F'ing jackazzes....
just an afterthought..I would have putthe door up part way...no reason it needed to be all the way up...he had to know that the mist would go everywhere
