Default Alignment in Chicagoland??

Can someone recommend a reputable alignment shop in the Chicago area, that knows Corvettes, and doesn't charge the arm and leg for payment? I've had mine done twice and both times they set it out of spec. I've called around and prices range from 90.00 to 400.00!!!

I had mine done after being lowered. This place was recommended to me by Speed Inc., who did some work on my car. I don't remember the price. I had to take it back for some fine adjustment. The steering wheel was a TINY bit turned to the left while going in a straight line.

This guy does a great job. He has his equipment set up in a pit so any race car can go on. No clearance problems. Tell him you are one of the "Corvette guys" and he should do it for $100.00. Here is the printout you will receive:

Fullers in Hinsdale did four wheel alignments on both my '00 and '68 this past year. $100 apiece. At any speed I can take my hands off the wheel and the cars go where aimed. Guy that does it is a perfectionist.

Fullers in Hinsdale, has an alignment rack built into the ground, so the car drives right on to it. They'll do the fronts for $100.

D&M Corvette Specialists in Downers Grove can do a four wheel alignment for $160 - they have terrible customer service though.

There is another "D&M something" on North Ave out by you, they sell alot of exotics and could probably do something for you - try giving them a call.

Good Luck

Yes I agree on Fullers, Team Chevrolet now Ogden Chevrolet takes there warranty alignments there so they do know how to do vettes. They are located north of the RR Tracks. Its the same outfit that has the car washes all over the place now. D&M Corvette in Downers tends to be expensive. What ever you do don't go to Just Tires I took my 1996 Vert there last year in Westmont to have the wheels replaced and I had them align it also, boy did they screw it up. I had to go back there 3 times.

Hi guys, sorry from bringing this thread back from the dead. I am in the need to get alignment done on my C6Z06 since I will be getting some new tires all around. Wanted to confirm if Fullers in Hinsdale is still the place to go.
