Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to the world of covettes, 2001 MY vert, been reading the forum everyday. I was wondering where I could purchase a new hoodliner, mine is somewhat tattered. I am thinking about just calling Paula and getting one of her's. Does anyone know approx. price on a factory one versus one of hers.
Just to add, I bought my ride about 2 months ago, my 13 year old son found it on autotrader, since then him and I have gone to a couple of shows. I have to say the time with him has been as precious as owning my first dream car. I wouldn't trade this time for the world.
I've got a painted hood liner from PaulaH - there is no doubt she has the repuation as being the best, most creative artist doing painted headliners anywhere (that i know of ). It's all in what you want. If you want something a little more elaborate than just painting the logo, then you should go to Paula, but expect to pay for it too.
A real nice one will probably run you in the $450-500 range (including the cost of a new liner - about $100).
If I can, I'll try to post a pic of mine. You ought to see her website with all her pics too - pretty amazing!
I paid $130 at my local chevy dealer for a new liner.
Paula's the best! Her prices vary depending on how elaborate you want to go with it.
Give her a call and get a quote on what you're interested in.
She's a wonderful person and a pleasure to do business with.
