Exhaust suggestions?
I am looking for a deep tone, not loud or raspy. Deeper than stock.

Have same car. Went w/borla stinger, corsa x-pipe & halltech stinger air intake. Pipes have deep sound @ idle, scream @ w.o.t. & mellow @ hwy. speeds. Might as well install a tunnel brace while the exhaust is off. I chose Abs of Aluminum from Elite Eng.. Good luck!

Since everyone has different ideas regarding "deep", "loud" and "raspy" the best thing to do is find a Corvette club meeting and hear a bunch for yourself....
IMHO the ZO6 Ti's are too quiet on a un-modded car, and the B&B Bullets are very LOUD - sets off car alarms. Lots of choices in the middle. I have the Borla Stingers, great sound at a great price....

I too went the Borla Quad tip stinger route first. Just added B&B long tubes and a Corsa X-Pipe quieter than just the Borlas at idle, WOT is a real treat, not obtrusive, just a really sweet exhaust note and you certainly feel the long tubes doing their thing!
I think I'll keep this car ('03 Z06) - mod fever begins!

These are what I have on my coupe, they are from magnaflow and the design and price are what sold me. Instead of the bends on the rear of the exhaust system, which is 4 90 degree turns and then out the rear of the car, these go straight out of the x pipe over the axle and strait out the back with dual chrome tips. Sound very mean with small magnapack mufflers. I have jet hot headers and high flow cats setting in the garage waiting for my 02 sensors to get here and I will be complete. Here is a link to the page with this system it is a little hard to find. It is the package that sells for 616.07 This is a great deal I it includes the x pipe and it is all stainless. I do not know what it weighs but it appeared to be about half the pipe that the stock system used.

4 weeks ago I went to the MM fun fest here in Illinois and they had reps from the 3 big venders. B&B, Borla, and Corsa. My take was the B&B bullets were the loudest, Borla Stinger next and the Corsa was just a little less then the Borla's. Thats just my take. The best thing is to follow some of the above replies and go to a local vette club meeting and just ask, look and listen. Anything, well just about anything is way better than the stock system..Good luck

I installed Borla Stingers 2 Tip and I am very pleased with the sound. Deep rumble at idle and scare-the-pants-off-the-ricer at WOT!!!!!
