What An Awesome Car!
I was reminded once again of how lucky we are with our C5s today. I got up early today (around 5:00 AM) to drive 'Grace' 125 miles from outside of Philadelphia to outside of New York. This car makes business travel a pleasure - even though it was about 40 degrees on the way up to Palisades, I still kept the top down (I must admit I had the windows up most of the way - I wonder what the wind chill factor is for 40 degrees at 75 mph).
'Grace' sustains high speeds, soaks up those I95 bumps, and still gets good mileage. Gets plenty of looks, too...

Top down
I drove mine to work today with the top down and it was pretty cool but I enjoyed it !!!! I will get as many bonus day's in as possible before the snow starts to fly.

Living here in AZ is much different, we do get to drive all year with no salt but one season is better then the other. Down here my car likes winter, nice cool air temps! She really wakes up now driving at night. Summer is still fun but 125 degree days stuck in Phoenix traffic sucks. I dont overheat but she does run hot. Motorcycles are the same way, during the summer here its actually too hot to ride some days. Feels like a blow dryer in your face. For bikes I had to reverse the norm. I store the bikes and take them out around now.
I had my vette out all winter in Boston one year, sliding around everywhere watching the DIC blink "active handling". You want to see heads turn, a C5 plowing through salt and snow at 10 degrees got attention. I should post pics of the car that winter, it also had to sit outside when parked. People here might start to cry looking at it. But she cleaned up well and is happy here in AZ. Thanks for the story, yet another reason to go flog the car for a few hours. I still catch myself staring at it in the garage five years later. Its simply amazing I own the car, even with the problems I have had I love it.
