Default Zaino question

Do any of you use micro fiber towels instead of cotton. I haven't done it yet but wonder how well they would work. I have always used the 100% cotton but like the micro fiber for drying the car.

I prefer the micro fiber towels, they seem to pick up the polish residue faster.

I think the micro fibre are too absorbent to put Zaino polish or Z6 on with. I would imagine that removing the polish might be o.k.

I'm surprised Glenn, that you haven't had good results. I use microfiber applicators and towels for Zaino, the fieldcrest cotton towels worked very well too, I just think the microfiber makes it a bit easier.

p.s. You headed out to County Line tomorrow?

Definitely MF towels, but just like cotton towels you gotta do your homework. Made in Pakistan, be weary. Someone suggested taking your drying/cleaning towels and rubbing them against the recording side of a CD. If it scratches, don't use it. I perform this test and have even gone to Walmart or auto store with a CD in my hand. I have many different types of MF in my collection. Some I use for da windshield. Some for wheel wells and underneath the car and others for the visible places. Never mix them up. Also, these are great with Zaino products. www.dftowel.com and anther place called pakshak or something. Anywho, all you people doing the get with the times and do your homework.

That CD test is good advice. Black paint will show microscratches just as easily as a CD will.
