I have Borla Stinger quad's on my Z06, with a west coast corvette billet exhaust plate and it all looks perfect. The tips don't hide the plate at all.
Exhaust is so subjective, but I did not like the GHL tone AT ALL once I heard the Borla's..........not too exotic, not too nasty....just right...

Sound is subjective so listen to others (live) in your area and make a selection from that. Power increase will be nearly zero, plus you gain a few pounds - so this is NOT a performance upgrade IMHO.
FWIW I have the GHL's and love them.
