Are these wheels clearcoated?
I'm not sure what year (2000+???) the wheels are from but they were on my car when I bought them. I know they're polished, just want to know if they are clearcoated or not. I'd like to polish them up a bit but not if they're clearcoated....
Anyone know?

Look like the "highly polished" wheels to me.
Very likely they are clear-coated.

And from your pictures, these do look like the OEM (stock) wheels.

Yes, they are clear coated, polished aluminum, forged rims. They were a $895 option on my '01.

They are clearcoated from the factory. When I had mine, I just kept a good coat of wax on them.

Unless someone has polished off the clearcoat I would agree they look like stock polished wheels and should be clear coated. Polish that is safe for your cars finish is the most abrasive thing you should use. Even a stiff brush will scratch. If they are badly scratched they can be polished and re clear coated.
