[Z06] LeMans Blue???

LeMans Blue???

Ok when I bought my '04 Z16, I thought that the LeMans Blue color was rare and only used on the Z16. Now, I see that the same LeMans Blue exterior is a standard option on the '05's. What's up with that??? I feel cheated on a 'rare' color....

All the hype, maybe that's why there are still lots of Z16 on the dealer lots. Overpriced!

Le Mans Blue was supposed a CE color only.

It's a rare color for the C-5. I have a Z16 and seen the C6 in april at the bash. I thought the same way but we will be the only C5's with this paint color u ntil possier's get there cars painted like ours. You see a lot of fellow C5 owners putting the Z16 strips on there cars because they wished they had a Z16. We do have CE when it comes down to orignality. Don't sweat it

You had it wrong. Was also used on the CE coupes and verts - most popular color for 2004.

But...

It is a one year only color in the C5's. And because of that it still classifies as 'limited'

I just picked up mine today with 3000 miles (but with a full 36,000 mile warranty from today) for $41,400. I am sure glad someone else took that initial depreciation hit for me.

Given that this car should retain its value a bit better than a non-CE Z06, I think I will do fine upon resale. I admit, however, that the $4K+ price of the option new was overpriced given what you actually got in the car (not counting scarcity).
