Forum section for DIYers
I think that we need a C5 forum area full of Stickies for DIYers. I just read a topic about installing HUD, there's one for how to blackout your tail lights, etc. etc. Topics should be taken out of General and Tech sections, etc. Put into a DIY section made into stickies, and then locked.
Instead of trying to "search" for an install, it'd be a lot easier to find it in a DIY section. It might also give guys ideas for things that they'd never thought about.

Have you checked out the Tech Tips section of the Forum? In the menu at the top of this page, click on Other, then Tech Tips, then the generation you're interested in. IMO, your suggestion is worthy, but I believe that this was the basic intent of the Tech Tips. Either of these require us members to maintain them and they are only as good as we make them. Hope this helps.
