C5 Comparison

Just wondering how fast are stock 97-99 A4 Charlie Fives to the following vehicle!

1. Win or Lose to 350Z

2. WS6 00 Trans-AM

3. Win or Lose 99 SS Camaro

4. Win Lose Nissan 94 Twin Turbo

5. Win Lose to 00 Cobra

6. Win Lose to 94 Toyota Supra Turbo

7. Win Lose to 86 Iroc Z

8. Win Lose to 90 Mustang LX 5.0

9. Win or Lose to 96 GS Corvette

10. Win or lose to 00 SVT Lightining

11. Win 04 Suburu WRX

12. 04 Win or Lose Mazda RX 8

13. Win or Lose 92-02 BMW M3

14. Win or Lose 04 BMW M3

15. Win or Lose Audi TT

Not that I would race my baby! Just would like to compare my vehicle to some of the other stiff competion that I see on a daily drive.

My observations at the track.

350z Win.
WS6-00 Likely Win, if both stock.
00 Cobra-Likely win, drivers important here since the Cobra in Manual.
WRX-win
RX8-win
86Iroc-win
90 Mustang-win

All the above are assuming stock vs stock.

It all depends on what type of "race" you're talking about. Are you wondering about the 1/4 mile or 0-60 times? Also, you need to take into consideration which rear end you have in your A4. If you have the 2.73s, you've got a couple of tough matches. If you have the 3.15s, you stand a better chance of beating everything on your list. Driver skill and track conditions also play a huge role!!

From what I have read on the WS6! It's suspension is rated in the top ten of stock performance vehicles! Somethin along the lines that it longer and the suspension grips for a quick launch. Not that it much faster that the SS, but the suspension is much, much better.
