Angie Moore still needs our help...
But things are getting worse and I am once again calling on the resources of this forum and it's members.
Angie's recovery is slow and painful and add to that, doctor and hospital bills rising.
I just spoke with Angie and she say's that she is being charged for services that she never had from the hospital that she went to after the accident. She has called the hospital to dispute these claims to no avail.
She is in to much pain to argue with these people and her bills continue to climb. She is worried about staying afloat and does not want to file for bankruptcy and has tried to deal with the mortgage company to pay what she can until she can return to work which looks like now it won't be until the first of the year.
Is there anyone in the Forum family that can advise Angie on legal matters concerning her Mortgage options and someone who can intervene on her behalf to negotiate partial payments for her monthly expenses??
Her savings are completely wiped out and utilities are being paid by church donations.
If anyone can help in this matter, please PM me and we can talk and I'll give you Angie's number.
I personally can't thank you all enough for what you have already done for Angie and her son Troy
Stano

After a MOST generous outpouring of concern and help (monetarily) the first two weeks, the Corvette Forum has seemed to forget about this great lady and her son. I suppose that's natural, but we need to consider a long-term committment to help her.
She's still out there, people. And she still needs our help.
There's a Corvette benefit for her on the 23rd (see Pacific Events) and as many of you SoCal 'Vetters as possible would help her a great deal if you marked it on your calendar as a "must do".
I have a feeling that Stano (and others) may show up from Central California.
We can't forget Angie...she still needs us.
Prayers (and I mean prayers, not just a thought) cost nothing except a minute and they work!

I sent you a PM, but for now, depending on if she had / did not have insurance, Patient Advocate Line in Sacramento can guide Angie / help her, if she didn't have insurance. I'll get some more info before Saturday.
