i changed...(merged part 3)
getting a vette added so much joy but equal amount of agony as well...
what do you do when it rains?
i just sit in the garage drinking sam adams smoking marlboro (spell? gawdammn! i've been smoking that crap for over ten years and still don't know how to spell it!!!).
if there were no baseball on tv, i'd prolly go insane with this weather.
Yesterday, we had bad thunderstorms, so I did not go out at all!
Today, we have a forecast of drizzle. I am still running my errands in my Vette. I have another car, a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, that I take when the weather is bad! Hope it does not rain all week in Cali!

(if it's not rained out) and Huuuston will also win, and then only 5 games left. (my prediction - and that gives a single game to Huuuston
- the Yanks take the rest)So what was it that changed? Did you come out of the closet???
1. never smoke while driving
2. never tail gate (to avoid little stones/rocks)
3. wave at other vettes (never thought i would...still kinda shy)
4. hate the rain
5. warm the car up before driving
6. clean and treat the seats
7. never fart (at least i try damn hard not to)
8. no food/drinks while driving
9. look in the rear view mirror (looking for cops)
10. opening pass side door for people (don't want them to even touch it)
11. take shower before i go drive
12. vacume the interior (never done it myself before)
13. wash my hands freaquantly
14. take hard steps to dust off my shoes before gettin in the car
15. park far away in the parking lot and walk
16. no drunk driving
17. asking dates not to wear too much perfume (afraid their perfume will take away the vette smell)
18. watching passengers foot to see if they scrape the door bottom getting in and out....
omg... i've changed. i used to be "what the hell" kinda guy with cars but i'm an anxious a hole now. what happened to me??? i wanna go back to the "cool" "what the hell" kinda guy i used to be.
have you changed since you got your vette?

if there were no baseball on tv, i'd prolly go insane with this weather.

Cheer up! Sunny days are coming, John!
is anyone doing this? or the computer is reading and understanding everything now???

Ain't America wonderful?
Ain't America wonderful?

boy oh boy...only if you met me or read my thread, "men luv their vettes more than women", you wouldn't be paying a woman(who took half of "obscene" money of yours) to date other men. j/k
REDSUX and the LAWSUX as well when it comes to divorce law in Californya.
GOD i was going to lose it!As far as the NEW VETTE smell, I bought my car in March 2003. The smell is gone...I miss it so
I watch for:
- People kicking the door open,
- People stopping behind me ( I give myself a "cushion" between me and the car ahead of me incase I need to pull up for the idiot not stopping in time behind me)
- People closing the door by the pushing on the side window.
- People LEANING on the side window for leverage getting in and out of the Vette. <---THAT ONE STEAMS ME BEYOND ALL BELIEF!!!
- People trying to close my trunk...
This is a HUGE no-no.
I do it myself!- Anyone else HAVING TO drive it (serivce people, State Inspection...NO VALET FOR ME!)
- I've had family try to help me with my bags out of the trunk, and I insist that I do it alone!
(my little brother tried to "polish" the back end of my car with my suitcase by not lifting the bag before dragging it across the paint.)

- Ooo and the dragging the feet across the door sill pisses me off every time (I am guilty of doing the same though...of course)
Yup, no coolness left around the Vette...too uptight now.
I do try to relax and remember it's a thing that can be fixed, but it's hard not to be passionate about it.
Ain't America wonderful?

tell me you work in the **** industry making that "obscene" money!!!
nice to meet you Mr. Randy West, i do enjoy your work and appreciate!

...you're getting warmer
