How do you add torque?

The fastest way to add full time torque (not refillable torque) is with long tube headers. One word, one brand Kooks. I know some people have their own ideas, but that is how I would do it. It's inherent in the engine design. Four bangers (like the S200) can develop high HP but anemic in the torque department. The OHV engines, pushrod and all, might be antiquated in design but provides massive torque early in the powerband.

Add your usual intake, exhaust, LT headers and have the ECU programmed. It should wake up some hidden torque in your setup. In a C5, torque is easier to build.
