Can anyone tell be the best way to clean my set of Y2K thin spoke rims on my C5? I will be storing it in the winter and want to take the wheels off and give them a through cleaning. I dont know how or what products to use.
Thanks alot

I think good ol' soap and water is the best. There are a lot of wheel cleaners available, but none of them will do better than soap & water, and the wrong one can damage the wheel finish.

Also, a good Citrus based cleaner and claybar (as others have mentioned) will take care of the stubborn stuff. I don't know how clean your wheels are to start with but the barrels of mine looked like this before and after with the above mentioned cleaning.
